There are a lot of unexpected goodies in Internet Explorer 8, Microsoft's newest browser. One of them is the ability to open multiple, independent sessions simultaneously -- which lets you log onto Web sites that track your identity in different tabs.
Suppose you have Gmail open in your browser window and you want to check a different account simultaneously. Well, here's a cool tip: Just press Alt to reveal Internet Explorer's menus, and then click File, New Session. In the new Internet Explorer window, you can log into a different account without affecting the first browser window.
Firefox users have long been able to quick-switch Gmail accounts thanks to extensions like Gmail Manager, but this is actually a better solution: You can access multiple accounts simultaneously, without having to sign out from one in order to access another.
