Obama Celebrates Daughter's Birthday

(CHICAGO) The Obama's are celebrating 10 year-old, Malia's birthday today with stops at a local recreational center and the movie theater. Malia, who celebrated her Fourth of July birthday in Butte, Montana, spent time with Chicago friends and her famous parents.
Family and friends went to the East Bank Club for a swim before heading to the movies to see the hit, "Wall-E."
"Are you guys going to come see the movie with us?" Obama joked with reporters who were waiting for him to exit the club.
Michelle Obama emerged from the club carrying birthday gifts with a small entourage of children trotting by her side.
Last week, Obama told reporters of his plans for Malia's party, and he seems to have stuck by his promises.
"I think we'll take them to the pool. We're gonna see 'Wall-E,' which I am looking forward to. It's gotten great reviews," Obama explained, "We're going to make pizza and sundaes and I think her and some of her closest friends are going to be spending the night. That's usually what we do for birthdays we don't – we don't load her up with a bunch of presents."
Obama squeezed in a workout this morning as well as an afternoon haircut. What remains to be seen is if he will find time to meet with Hillary Clinton today, who is in town to deliver a speech at American Federation of Teachers Convention.
He heads to San Diego later tonight to be in place for tomorrow's speech at the National Council of La Raza Annual Conference.
