Nothing Yet on Seattle PI As Deadline Passes

Monday was the end of the 60-day self-imposed deadline that Hearst gave on the fate of Seattle Post-Intelligencer newspaper, and as of today, nothing yet. According to a company spokesperson, it has still "evaluating our optionsTiming of the decision is uncertain." This despite indications that it has made offers on an online-only version of the paper as well. The paper's employees have been officially notified that their jobs will end between March 18 and April 1, but they will only get pay till March 18. Meanwhile, we wait, and even more so, the employees wait for their fate and livelihood decisions
