(CBS/KCBS) LOS ANGELES - A missing woman connected to "Saving Private Ryan" actor Tom Sizemore was found alive Friday, according to an LAPD news release.

Police reportedly found 25-year-old Megan Wren in a house in the Rampart area of Los Angeles, near the spot of her supposed disappearance six weeks ago. Wren had been staying with friends and eventually contacted family members to tell them she was all right, according to the Daily Mail.

Sizemore said he was 'relieved and happy' that she was safe, reports the Daily Mail.

Police had questioned Sizemore in the search for the missing woman, who was described last week by Sizemore's manager as the actor's "friend," but insisted he was not a suspect.

Bill Wren, the missing girl's father, said his daughter struggled with a drug addiction and was recently hospitalized for a staph infection, reports CBS station KCBS.

According to TMZ, Megan Wren had been living with Sizemore for months, but Sizemore's manager Charles Lago says she wasn't his girlfriend.

"She's a girl he's known for a long, long time, but she's not Tom's girlfriend," Lago said. "She used to live in the same building...He tried to help her."

The actor has been arrested on drug related charges in the past and appeared on the VH1 series "Celebrity Rehab" with Dr. Drew Pinsky last year.
