Microsoft, Yahoo Meet Again; Still In Holding Pattern

Senior execs from Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) and Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) met again this week but didn't make any progress, reports WSJ. Microsoft didn't offer to raise its offer and Yahoo didn't agree to begin formal negotiations, and there were no bankers present in the meeting. This is the second time the two sides have met, and it's not clear whether this meeting had a different purpose than the last one, which was reported as basically an opportunity for Microsoft to pitch its vision.
