Microsoft V. Google: Two Opposite Approaches To Browser Advertising

The first Google (NSDQ: GOOG) TV ad for Chrome plays up the browser's simplicityas easy to use as putting together some blocks, the ad basically claims. But Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) has settled on a different angle with Internet Explorer. In one of its inaugural pitches for the browser (featuring Superman Dean Cain), it highlights the chaos that it believes would exist without IE.
