The film is a comedy about a college-bound teen, played by Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenburg, who drugs his rehab-seeking mother (Leo) so health insurance will pay for treatments. It is set to shoot in New York's mid-Hudson Valley, near the actress' Stone Ride home.

Along with taking home the Oscar, Leo made headlines at the Academy Awards ceremony when she dropped the f-bomb during her acceptance speech. "When I watched Kate two years ago, it looked so (expletive) easy," the 50-year-old said. The remark was bleeped so U.S. TV audiences never heard it, though they did hear the audience explode in laughter.
