Meet "Suitsy," the one-piece men's business suit

The "suitsy" is all the rage in San Francisco, California after one entrepreneur decided that coordinating a suit was too much work

They say clothes make the man. But what do you say to a man who's made a grown-up's version of an infant's "onesie," or body suit, for men who want to look professional but don't have the time, desire or fashion sense?

San Francisco real estate developer Jesse Herzog has been making waves recently with his invention, called the "suitsy."

"I thought wouldn't it be great to have a way to look professional, but also feel like I'm in my pajamas," he told CBS affiliate KPIX.

In a fit of inspiration, or insanity, Herzog came up with the idea of a pull-on business suit. Working with a seamstress, he developed what are essentially overalls disguised as dress pants, a dress shirt and a matching jacket. The wearer simply steps into the suitsy, pulls up the hidden zipper and voila, he's dressed for success.

Herzog says his invention suits his city's entrepreneurial spirit. "San Francisco, I think, appreciates convenience and comfort," he said, "but also a little bit of class, too. And this is a combination of all those things."

The suitsy has gotten a lot of exposure through Betabrand, the San Francisco-based online "clothing community," where new product ideas can be crowd-funded into existence in a short time.

"It is a serious idea," Herzog told the San Francisco Chronicle. "But that being said, I don't think it hurts to have a sense of humor about the product. There are a lot of people who have responded very seriously that this is going to cause the apocalypse of fashion. And maybe they are right."
