Meatball thieves' recipe for success? Wait for driver to doze
(CBS/AP) PHILADELPHIA - There are some "hot" frozen meatballs missing in Philadelphia.
Police are trying to find the thieves who swiped 17 cases of frozen of meatballs from the back of a delivery truck.
Authorities say two men broke into a trailer while the driver was asleep early Monday.
WPVI-TV reports the men took off in a van when another driver pulled into the lot. Local station NBC 10 reports the stolen meatballs weighed more than 500 pounds.
They're probably on the prowl now for a whole lotta pasta.
