McCain Digs Harry's Song!

When Early Show co-anchor Harry Smith was in Nashville earlier this month ahead of the second presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain., he got into the spirit of things by writing -- and recording -- his very own country song, "Red State, Blue State Blues."

Well, on The Early Show Tuesday, Smith revealed that his tune debuted on the Top 150 Country Music chart at -- No. 140!

Not only that, he said he played a video of the song for McCain when he sat down with the Republican nominee for an exclusive interview Monday -- and McCain gave it a big thumbs-up! McCain was chuckling all the way but, hey -- a thumbs-up is a thumbs-up!
