March Mayhem Sweepstakes Rules

#1 SWEEPSTAKES SUMMARY:
Beginning March 6, 2000, at 8:00 PM ET, eligible Internet users may enter the "March Mayhem" Sweepstakes by filling out our registration form and submitting it at CBS’ web site (www.cbs.com). Only one entry per person.

The winners for all forty-seven (47) Prizes will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries submitted during the Promotion Period.

#2 HOW TO ENTER:
Eligible Internet users who visit the CBS web site anytime between 8:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) March 6, 2000 and 11:59 PM ET April 3, 2000 (the "Promotion Period") will have the opportunity to register and enter the “March Mayhem" Sweepstakes.

All entrants will be required to successfully register. You may register to win only once. Participants may not play with multiple e-mail addresses, nor may participants use any other device or artifice to play multiple times or as multiple entrants. Any registrant who attempts to play with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or use any other device to play multiple times will be disqualified.

#3 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
Entries with incomplete name and address information are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with and acceptance of these official rules including all eligibility requirements. All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Neither CBS Corporation, CBS.com Inc., Qwest or any Internet access providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of registration or entry information, human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access CBS web site or any other error or malfunction which may occur. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void.

#4 DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: HOW WE GET THE WINNERS:
PRIZE DRAWINGS:
A random drawing will be conducted on or about April 17, 2000 by CBS (whose decision is final on matters relating to this sweepstakes) from all eligible entries that have been properly entered online and received by 11:59 PM ET, 4/3/00. Winners will be notified by email and/or by mail. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If in the judges' opinion there is any suspected or evidence of actual electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, the judges reserve the right to terminate the sweepstakes and conduct a drawing to award the prize using all eligible entries received as of the termintion date. Should the sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the appropriate area of the CBS web site.

#5 PRIZES:

Grand Prize: One (1) CBS Sports Nylon Jacket. Approximate Retail Value: $75.00;
First Prizes: Twenty-three (23) CBS College Basketball Caps. Approximate Retail Value: $16.00 each;
Second Prize: Twenty-three (23) CBS College Basketball T-shirts. Approximate Retail Value: $17.00 each.

#6. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:
No prize substitutions or transfers permitted, except as noted, or by Sponsor who reserves the right to award prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is not available. All applicable taxes are sole responsibility of winner. Grand prize winner will be notified by email and must acknowledge within 72 hours of email sent, or that person will be disqualified and another grand prize winner selected. The selected grand prize winner will be required to (i) provide his or her social security number, and (ii) within two (2) weeks of attempted notification, execute and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and, where legal, a publicity release granting Sponsor the right to use winner's name & likeness. If the selected grand prize winner does not sign and return the affidavit/liability release and, where legal, publicity release within the attempted notification time period, the prize may be forfeited & awarded to alternate. Entrants’ release & hold harmless Sponsor, their employees, directors, officers & agents, subsidiary & affiliated companies, advertising & promotion agencies from any & all claims or liability in connection with their participation in this promotion or acceptance or use of any prize. Sponsor / Administrator makes no warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied in fact or in law, regarding any prize, including but not limited to, its quality, condition, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

#7 WHO CAN ENTER:
This sweepstakes is open to U.S. residents, residing in the U.S, who are 18 years of age or older as of March 6, 2000. Not eligible to enter are employees and their immediate families, including household members, of CBS Corporation, CBS.com Inc., Qwest, any Internet access providers, their divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies. This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void where prohibited. Winners agree that the Sponsor, its affiliates, agencies and subsidiaries and the employees thereof shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of any prize awarded. By entry into this sweepstakes, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, and/or photograph for promotional purposes, including online announcements without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor reserves right to verify eligibility qualifications of winners. U.S. law gverns this Sweepstakes. Prizes guaranteed to be awarded. Sponsor will enter into no correspondence, including email, (except for prize notification and winners list).

#8 WHO WON:
For the names of the prize winners, available after April 17, 2000, send an email from a valid email address to marketing@cbs.com with the subject
" March Mayhem" Sweepstakes, OR send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Winner “March Mayhem" Sweepstakes c/o CBS.com Marketing, 524 West 57th Street, New York, New York 10019. Requests received after April 30, 2000 will not be fulfilled.

#9 GOVERNING LAW:
The laws of United States govern this promotion. All claims must be resolved in the United States.
