Zoho, best known for Web-based applications like Zoho Writer and Zoho Sheet, just took the wraps off Zoho People, a human-resources management application. Designed for businesses with 50+ employees, Zoho People offers recruitment and resume management, employee tracking, automated checklists, hierarchy charting, and other nifty HR tools. I've just started playing with ZP, and from what I can see so far, it's amazing. It could be a huge asset to small- and medium-size organizations that don't want to spend a small fortune on HR software and services. Speaking of money, Zoho hasn't yet finalized Zoho People pricing, but you can bet it'll be less than competing solutions. For now, you can try it free of charge with up to 10 users. [via Zoho Blogs]
