NEW YORK (CBS) Police in eastern Pennsylvania are asking for the public's help in finding 23-year-old Lauren Elizabeth Rennard, who went missing in on Dec. 30.

According to local newspaper The Pottstown Mercury, state police issued a missing person alert on Monday after Rennard's family said they hadn't seen her since last Thursday.

The missing woman is from Collegeville, Pa., about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

According to court documents obtained by The Reporter Online, Rennard pleaded guilty in 2008 to a misdemeanor charge of identity theft, after she admitted using a former co-worker's debit card to make unauthorized bank withdrawals.

She was sentenced to three years probation and was ordered to pay more than $9,000 in restitution.

Rennard is a white female, said to be about 5-foot-8 and 125 pounds. Police say she may be driving a black 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier with Pennsylvania license plate HMR-1995.

Anyone with information on Rennard's whereabouts is urged to contact the Skippack state police barracks at 610-584-1250.
