Last Comic Standing

"Last Comic Standing" made me a believer in comedy again.

These people are really talented, and there is nothing harder than making people laugh, but it's the greatest reward when you do. This show is also the hardest to blog about because I can't retell jokes, no one can in a blog. So, this will be short and sweet.

The shows starts with the two comics who have gotten the most votes online to compete to be the Last Comic Downloaded, the most online votes wins. Theo and Josh have qualified and battle it out for three minutes on stage. I think Josh pulled ahead — his jokes flowed, Theo reused some jokes and looked real nervous. We will see tomorrow who wins.

Onto the comics left. One has to go home before the show even starts. Chris Porter goes home. It's disappointing but at this stage they are all hilarious and it's sad to see any leave. I really liked Chris, his style and demeanor was so witty. I love it.

Between Josh and Ty, I think Ty might win. His jokes the last three weeks have been consistent and funny. Josh also is a great joke teller, so it's really up in the air. I will tell you that if you missed tonight's show, watch the reruns. Laughter is good for the soul and there is a heck of a lot of it in this episode.

Good luck to both. I personally voted for both of them — I have decision making problems.
