Kelly Clarkson's new album gets a release date

(CBS) Kelly Clarkson's fifth album is coming out this fall.

"Stronger" will be released on Oct. 25. The first single off the album, "Mr. Know It All," will premiere on Aug. 30.

The news comes via the "American Idol" winner's official website.

"Can't wait for y'all to hear the new single!" Clarkson wrote on Tuesday. "The band and I are really excited and currently gearing up for this record! It's gonna be a fun record to tour!"

"Mr. Know It All" will debut during a live webcast, and will be available for download at digital music stores on Sept. 5. Fans who pre-order Clarkson's album will get the single sent to them as soon as its available.
