Is The Moon All Wet?
Scientists are giddy with excitement over lunar prospectorÂ's most recent discovery. Ice has been found on the moon—millions of tons of water, enough to fill a four-square-mile lake to a depth of 35 feet.

NASA says the implications of the discovery are enormous. The water could be used to provide drinking water or turned into hydrogen fuel to support a colony. And scientists say those colonies could be used as a launch pad for missions to other planets.
