Industry Moves: UMG-Loeb & Loeb; Hearst; Pandora; TMZ

Loeb & Loeb: Larry Kenswil has left Universal Music Group to join law firm Loeb & Loeb. As an attorney specializing in emerging media, he'll focus on new media and digital channels. Kenswil had spent 25 years at UMG, and most recently served as EVP of business strategy. (Via Billboard.)

Hearst: As part of it's "100 Days of Change" initiative, Hearst Newspapers announced several promotions: Mark Aldam, publisher of the Times Union in Albany, NY, will become SVP of Hearst Newspapers, responsible for 8 daily newspapers and 6 Connecticut weeklies. Also from Times Union, VP/GM/Associate Publisher George Hearst III will succeed Aldam as publisher of the Albany paper, and Circulation Director John DeAugustine has been appointed publisher of the Connecticut Post. Michelle McAbee, who currently serves as GM of the Brooks Community Newspapers in Fairfield County, Conn., will now be publisher of The Advocate and Greenwich Time. Pandora: Pandora has hired Brian Mikalis for the new position of VP of performance sales. He comes from AdReady, where he served as director of business development. Earlier, he was director of sales and business development at AOL (NYSE: TWX), and created the company's first program for direct response advertisers. Release.

TMZ: American Media executive Pamela Russo has joined TMZ as its GM, where she will focus on branding for both the TV show and website. Previously, she was VP and director of digital operations of the Star and National Enquirer publisher. (Via TVWeek.)
