(CBS) It's sort of infuriating, really. Hugh Jackman goes on a 6,000 calorie a day diet and still looks better than us.

Sure, he's working out like a wild beast and putting on muscle for his return role in "Wolverine," but it still doesn't seem quite fair.

Jackman broke it down in an interview with Geoff Boucher of the Los Angeles Times, where he said he's now pumped up to a shirt-splitting 210 of muscle. It's all part of director Darren Aronofsky's master plan, he said.

"Wolverine, in the comics, is powerful, stocky, you know, he's short and thick," Jackman said Aronofsky told him. "'"I want you to go there, get bigger.'"

Jackman said he's aiming for a Mike Tyson type of build.

"There's real power," he said. "That's what I'm going for, and if I have a massive heart attack first, well, you tell everyone what I was going for."
