Hilarious "Truth In Advertising" Videos

It's Friday afternoon, so here's your Sales Machine funny video gallery of the week. Ever want to know what really goes on inside an advertising agency? Me neither. Even so, here are five satirical videos that reveal the underbelly of the advertising world. As usual, I've included polls so you can vote for your favorite.

Click here for other Sales Machine Video Galleries! This video goes through the creative process of an ad sale, but with the actual thoughts of the people involved, rather than the nice-nice they're supposed to be making. The resulting ad (in the final 30 seconds or so) is priceless.

CLICK HERE FOR THE SECOND VIDEO » This video is a bit more surreal than the first one and is also more sympathetic to the plight of the "creative" folk who work inside ad agencies. The funniest part is towards the end, when the "idea" sees the other "idea" that won the award. Priceless!

CLICK HERE FOR THE THIRD VIDEO » This video is a satire of a Monster.com ad, only with kids telling the truth about working in advertising. It reminds me a little of the scene in the movie Annie Hall, when his schoolmates in a flashback predict their future lives and one says: "I'm into leather."

CLICK HERE FOR THE FOURTH VIDEO » Another video showing the politics inside an ad agency, as it might look if Charlie Brown worked there. This is particularly funny if, like myself, you know the original TV show by heart.

CLICK HERE FOR THE FIFTH VIDEO » And finally, a video that tell the REAL truth in advertising, which is that it's pretty much useless in this "day and age." Ironically, this video comes from Microsoft, the company that's about to SPAM the world with a brand campaign for "Bing."
