Guy asks "How far away is the Moon from Earth?" (VIDEO)

(CBS) - So just how far away is the Moon from the Earth? Do you really know? If you had a basketball and a tennis ball would that help? Probably not. It sure didn't help anyone in this video.

Turns out, the answer is not as easy as you think if you're basing it on photos you have seen of the two bodies together. Which is the point our young science instructor is making quite nicely in this video.
