Gina Trapani's Top Productivity Tricks
Surely you know who Gina Trapani is -- and if you don't, you should. For the uninformed few out there, Trapani is the founder of the famous Lifehacker blog, which regularly offers excellent productivity insights along with guidance on software and Web sites that make life easier.
Leo Babauta of Zen Habits recently interviewed Trapani about blogging, writing, and her plans for the future. During the discussion, she shared her top three productivity tips from her latest book (Upgrade Your Life: The Lifehacker Guide to Working Smarter, Faster, Better). They're simple and to the point, so I'll repeat them here:
- Use a three-folder system for managing e-mail.
- Use an online calendar "tickler file" for reminders, especially for mundane recurring tasks.
- Create a doable "to-do" list.
