Get a 3M Pocket Projector for $199.99
Remember the 3M MPro110 pocket projector? It's a business-ready projector that just so happens to fit in the palm of your hand.
It sold for $359 when it debuted late last year, but proving that good cheap things come to those who wait, Buy.com has the 3M MPro110 projector for $199.99 shipped.
Okay, but is it any good? We haven't had the chance to try one ourselves, but here's what PC Magazine had to say about the MPro110:
All told, the MPro110 is a useful projector, impressive for its small size and more-than-acceptable image quality. But it suffers from issues like the hard-to-remove battery cover, the spring-like VGA cable, and, to a minor extent, the halo around the image. So good in the important areas (size, image quality), rocky in the not-so-important areas (how often do you need to remove the battery cover?).
If you've ever had to lug a regular projector on a trip along with a boat-anchor laptop, I'm guessing a springy VGA cable won't stop you from whipping out your credit card. Because $200 is an outright steal for this little guy. Pair it with a nice, lightweight netbook and you've got yourself all the presentation power you need.
Things like this tend to sell out, so if you're interested, I'd act fast. In the meantime, hit the comments and tell me if you agree this is too good a deal to pass up.
Update: Buy.com is sold out, but Circuit City has the same deal going! Hey, wait, didn't they famously go out of business? Yep, but they've been reborn as an online store.
