Free Stock Photos: Get 10 Per Day from PhotoXpress
Looking for a great resource for stock photos for your blog, Web site, newsletter, or the like? I've always been a fan of PhotoXpress, home to hundreds of thousands of free images. The only downside? You were limited to one photo per day.
Not anymore. Now, when you sign up for a free PhotoXpress account, you can download up to 10 images per day.
PhotoXpress maintains two sets of image libraries: free and premium. The former includes over 600,000 photos; the latter, 5.5 million. Obviously the free account limits you to the stuff in the free library, but even those images are licensed for both personal and corporate use; you don't even need to include PhotoXpress copyright info in your print or online media.
Speaking of which, all photos have a high enough resolution and color depth to be suitable for print; they aren't just medium- or low-res Web images.
If you want access to the Premium library, subscriptions start at $9.99 per month.
Bottom line: if you're looking for high-quality stock images that don't cost a dime, start your search at PhotoXpress. I always do.
