Forum Members Divided Over Suicide Attack

A forum member launched a debate over the legitimacy of carrying out suicide attacks against Muslims and occupation forces, and blamed the military forums for enabling "criminals" to execute such attacks. In his thread entitled "your forum has caused 60 innocent Muslims to be killed," a member using the name Ahmed al Iraqi voiced his indignation over the killing of Iraqi civilians in a suicide attack in al Karrada area. Forum members hit back at al Iraqi by arguing that the militants would never kill Muslims. They blamed traitor militias for carrying out the Karrada attack on the orders of the U.S. forces.

Al Iraqi then explained that he sought to find a way to restrict access to such bomb-making knowledge to true militants. "Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking you to shut down the forum, or where else would the true mujahideen learn how to fight the enemies of God," wrote al Iraqi. "I'm only suggesting that such military information would only be limited to true mujahideens," he added.
