Fla. man arrested after allegedly calling ex 145 times

PALM BEACH, Fla. – A Florida man was jailed after allegedly calling his ex-girlfriend 145 times on Friday, reports the Palm Beach Post.

Kirk Trim, 36, was arrested outside The Florence Fuller Child Development Center, a childcare center where his ex-girlfriend works, after threatening to blow it up unless he could talk her, the paper reports. The center was put on lockdown as a precaution.

“You will have to call the SWAT team on me,” Trim said outside the center prior to his arrest.

According to an arrest report, Trim called his ex's phone 145 times during an 11-hour period on Friday, not including the dozens of calls placed to her workplace. The woman has had a restraining order against Trim since November, the report states.

After he had called the woman’s phone over 100 times, a Boca Raton Police officer answered the phone, but Trim would not stop.

“I am not scared of the cops, I will give you my address,” he told the officer, according to the Post.

The Post reports that Trim left his girlfriend many messages. In one message, he threatened that he was “from the islands and will come and do whatever he needs to do and then get on the next plane out,” according to the arrest report.

The Pompano Beach resident posted bail on Saturday, the Post reported.
