First look: Daniel Craig back as James Bond in "Skyfall"

(CBS) Sony Pictures has released the first official photo from the newest James Bond film, "Skyfall."

It doesn't reveal much, but it does show Daniel Craig as 007 in a scene set in Shanghai, sporting some stubble and clutching a gun.

"Skyfall" reunites Craig as 007 and Judi Dench as spy chief M. The film, directed by Sam Mendes, also stars Javier Bardem as the villain and English actress Naomie Harris and French performer Berenice Marlohe as the latest Bond girls.

British actors Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw have also signed on for as-yet-undisclosed roles, it was reported in November.

"Skyfall" is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on Nov. 9.
