"Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" trailer debuts
(CBS) A tear-jerker trailer for "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" has hit the web.
The film, adapted from the bestselling book of the same name, centers around a father's death on 9/11.

Thirteen-year-old Thomas Horn makes his big-screen debut as Oscar, who loses his father (Tom Hanks) in the Sept. 11 attacks. After his death, Oscar discovers a key that belonged to his dad, which takes him on a journey around New York City. Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock rounds out the family as Oscar's mother.
The film, directed by Stephen Daldry ("The Hours," "Billy Elliot") will open in limited release on Christmas Day, with a wide release set for Jan. 20, 2012.
