Evolution Of En Vogue

The original funky divas are back.

Fourteen years and five albums after their debut, En Vogue has returned to the studio to record 15 soulful tracks for a new CD.

The legendary R&B divas dropped by The Saturday Early Show's Second Cup Cafe to sing some of their classic songs, plus the group's latest tune from their new album, "Soulflower."

The new disc marks the return of original members Cindy Herron and Terry Ellis, plus newcomer Rhona Bennett.

The Oakland, Calif.-based R&B group, which formerly consisted of Dawn Robinson, Maxine Jones, Herron and Ellis, made their debut with 1990's "Born to Sing." Since then, En Vogue went on to sell over 8 million albums, including "Funk Divas" (1992), "EV3" (1997), "Masterpiece Theatre" (2000), and "The Gift of Christmas" (2002). However, not all of the albums were recorded with all of the original members.

Robinson left the group in 1997 to pursue a solo career. And Jones left the group in 2001 to pursue motherhood.

"Soulflower" is the group's first album in nearly four years.
