Epic thunderstorm captured by photographer
(CBS) - There's a saying in newsrooms that basically goes, "When disaster strikes, get video." That's why stormchasers have such crazy jobs. They are literally the only people who want to be closer to a disaster. Then again, that's probably why they get such incredible video. See above.
Photographer Stephen Locke was able to get these amazing images of a storm cell in Nebraska. The Red Willow Supercell, to be precise. Not only is the video quality fantastic (Mr. Locke obviously knows his trade) but the storm itself is simply awesome.
The fury of nature. The beauty of photography. What's not to love?
