Drew Barrymore A Mafia Princess

Drew Barrymore doesn't have the classical Italian look but she's getting ready to play a Mafia princess in Virgin Heat.

Fox 2000 bought the Laurence Shames novel as a starring vehicle for Barrymore, who would play a woman in love with the man who ratted out her mobster father.

Columbia had rights to the book earlier and was planning to make a movie starring Tea Leoni but the project never got running.
