Do You LIKE Cold Calling?
There's no question that cold calling is sometimes necessary. If you've got a qualified list of potential prospects, it can even be highly productive. However, I've noticed that people seldom do a task well unless they enjoy doing it. And, unfortunately, I've met very few sales reps who actually LIKE cold-calling. However, I think that there may be a way to make cold-calling easier (and more fun) for everybody, but I'll need your help...
I'll start by finding out what's going on out there (with a poll), and then ask for YOUR advice, based upon YOUR response to the poll. First, the poll :

I'm asking you to provide your perspective for a reason. If we can figure out what people like about it, and what people dislike, I think we can come up with a set of beliefs and processes that will make cold-calling easier for everyone.
Please help me with this... it's a chance to really help out the profession.
