Dita Von Teese To Guest Star On "CSI"
NEW YORK (CBS) Dita Von Teese is reportedly set to make a guest star appearance on "CSI."
The 38-year-old burlesque artist will appear in an episode of the crime drama series shown in the US next January, according to published reports.
Von Teese is set to follow in teen sensation Justin Bieber's footsteps by filming a cameo role for the program. She will star as a classic Hollywood femme fatale, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells Entertainment Weekly the special storyline will be a throwback to "the glory days of L.A. film noir,
adding, "Her character is absolutely unlike what she seems. Prepare to be tantalized and tormented."
The CBS crime drama has a long history of celebrity guests.
Singer Taylor Swift appeared on "CSI" as a teenager whose family family manages a seedy Las Vegas motel. Country group Rascal Flatts has also appeared on the crime series, playing themselves.
