Delete Outlook Duplicates with ODIR

odir.jpgA while back I posted about removing duplicate contacts from Outlook. Turns out there's a free utility that can kill duplicate contacts, calendar entries, tasks, notes, and e-mail folders. It's called Outlook Duplicate Items Remover 1.2, ODIR for short, and it works like a charm.

After installing it, you simply fire up Outlook, then look for the newly added ODIR menu. Click it, then click Remove Duplicate Items. Choose the folder you want ODIR to scan; it'll find duplicates and relocate them to a sub-folder (without actually deleting anything). It's fast, simple, and effective -- just the way freeware oughta be. ODIR is compatible with Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007. [via InspectMyGadget.com]
