Cindy Lea Sambueso Missing: Family issues desperate plea for Calif. mom's safe return
(CBS/KGPE) FRESNO, Calif. - Police in California are asking for the public's help in locating Fresno woman Cindy Lea Sambueso, who was last seen Tuesday morning.
According to CBS station KGPE, police say she was last seen at her home that she shares with her ex-husband Robert Sambueso.
Cindy's family received several text messages from her the day she disappeared - one confirming dinner plans later that night with her daughter and ex-husband. Hours after she failed to make it to dinner, the family became worried and called police.
"Cindy, if you see this, we love you. Stay strong and we'll get you home soon," Robert Sambueso told the station.
KGPE reports that police found her cell phone inside her massage therapy business in Fresno. Investigators say Thursday that although there is no evidence that would suggest foul play, the circumstances of her disappearance are suspicious.
Sambueso is 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds with brown eyes and blond hair. She was last seen driving her red, four-door, 2000 Honda Accord with the license plate number 4LVP286.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno Police Department at 559-621-6300. If you see her or the Honda Accord that she may be driving, you're asked to call authorities immediately.
