Charlie Sheen apologizes for homophobic slur, blames lisp
Charlie Sheen has apologized for making a homophobic slur while hosting the grand opening of a rooftop bar at the El Ganzo hotel in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, on Friday night.
Video footage shows Sheen taking the stage at Epic Bar, saying, "How we doing...Lying bunch of f----t a--holes. How we doing?"
Sheen has since released the following statement: "I meant no ill will and intended to hurt no one and I apologize if I offended anyone."
According to TMZ, which posted a video of the incident, Sheen added, "I meant to say maggot but I have a lisp."
