Casey Anthony "diary" video surfaces on the web
(CBS) ORLANDO, Fla. - Casey Anthony, the Florida mother acquitted in the murder of her young daughter Caylee, is now back in the public eye with a new "personal diary" on Youtube.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that the video was made last October, and her lawyer, J. Cheney Mason, confirms the woman in the video is indeed Anthony.

Mason says the video release was "unauthorized" and "inappropriate. " An investigation is under way to find out how it was leaked.
Anthony has been "maintaining some notes for her personal use and for future counseling purposes," Mason explains.
This video became Anthony's first public statement since she was acquitted in July of first-degree murder. She has a new appearance in the video, her long brown hair traded for a blond bob.
In the video, Anthony talks about her newly acquired personal possessions and how happy she is to finally have things that belong to her.
Anthony makes no mention of the murder trial or of her daughter Caylee in the video.
She does say things are "looking up" and she expects to post many more video updates in the future.
The video was posted on several websites including YouTube and caseyanthonyisinnocent.com. The YouTube subscriber who initially posted the video says she doesn't know where it originated and that she found links to it on Facebook and pulled the video from those links.
Anthony says in the video, "It's just a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven't changed," she said. "But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change - in a good way. I just hope they stay...that things stay good and that they only get better."
