"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" debuts new poster

There's a new teaser poster out for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," and it's all about the shield.

The superhero's signature accessory is front and center in this new artwork, but it looks like it has seen some better days (or some serious battles).

In this sequel, due out April 4, 2014, Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff/ Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is one of two films Marvel Studios will be promoting next week at San Diego's Comic-Con, along with "Thor: The Dark World." That presentation is scheduled for Saturday, July 20.
