Kelsey Grammer Suffers "Mild" Heart Attack

A spokesman for Kelsey Grammer says the "Frasier" star is recovering in a Hawaii hospital after a mild heart attack this weekend.

Stan Rosenfield says Grammer is "resting comfortably" in an undisclosed hospital after being stricken Saturday. Rosenfield says the 53-year-old actor will be released early this week.

Grammer and his wife, Camille, live in Kona on the Big Island.

Rosenfield says Grammer - the star of "Cheers," "Frasier" and the recently canceled Fox sitcom "Back to You" - was paddle-boarding with his wife when he experienced symptoms.

The spokesman says Grammer was immediately taken to a hospital where it was determined that he had suffered a "mild heart attack." The spokesman says he is unaware of any history of heart trouble for Grammer.

Has Fame Changed The Jonas Brothers?

2It's not always easy being a Jonas brother. The tween crowd can get pretty feisty, which has given the boys no choice, but to change their ways.

"Some people are like, 'Oh, you've changed. You don't do meet-and-greets anymore.' But we can't do them anymore! We have to be careful where we go. We have to watch everything we do -- everything is under a microscope. It's also a safety issue. But it's fun and we wouldn't change it for the world," Kevin Jonas said.

The Jonas Brothers have had some close calls in the past.

"We played a show in Dallas and I decided I was going to run through the crowd at one point and [the audience] just crushed me. We had [security guards] help me out, but even then it was tough," he admitted.

Tatum O'Neal Released Without Bail After NYC Drug Arrest

4Tatum O'Neal, who has publicly battled drug addiction, was released without bail Monday after her cocaine-possession arrest in downtown Manhattan.

The Oscar-winning actress, 44, looked tired but said nothing as she was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance. She entered no plea.

Afterward, her lawyer whisked her into a waiting car. The actress is due back in court July 28.

O'Neal, daughter of actor Ryan O'Neal, won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for 1973's "Paper Moon," becoming the youngest person ever to win an Oscar.

The former child star struggled for years with drug abuse and publicly feuded with both her father and former husband, the tennis star John McEnroe. In recent years she has rebuilt her acting career, playing the hard-drinking Maggie Gavin in the FX channel's "Rescue Me." The show is now in production for its fifth and sixth seasons.

The producer, Sony Pictures Television, said the actress has shot one episode for the upcoming season and is scheduled to appear in several more, but the studio declined to comment further.

O'Neal's lawyer, Robert Marinelli, declined to comment. Her manager and publicist did not immediately return telephone calls after her court appearance, while her agent's office referred calls to her publicist.

Police found two bags of cocaine in her right front pants pocket when she was arrested around 7:30 p.m. Sunday on the once gritty, now trendy Lower East Side, according to a court complaint. Officers saw O'Neal accept the drug from a man during a routine drug sweep, police said.

Prosecutors are recommending drug treatment for O'Neal, who detailed her dependency on heroin and cocaine in her 2004 memoir "A Paper Life." She has since said she is sober.

Winehouse: Tardy, Fidgety, Cut & Bandaged At Post-Rehab Concert

5Amy Winehouse, in her first concert since leaving rehab, showed up almost an hour late, appeared distracted and had visible cuts on her arm and a bandage on her hand.

Her performance in front of 90,000 people, at an outdoor music festival in Lisbon, Portugal, was brief, clocking in at 55 minutes.

At least she apologized.

"Hey Lisbon," Winehouse told the crowd, which booed when she failed to appear at her advertised time but gave her a warm welcome when she appeared. "I'm sorry I'm late."

The Grammy-winning jazz-pop diva also apologized for a sore throat and her voice cracked during the set.

Wearing a short dress, Winehouse paused to talk to members of her band, fiddled at length with her microphone, sucked on lozenges and at one point dashed offstage but quickly returned. Cuts were visible on her left arm, and her right hand was bandaged.

Winehouse is booked to play at a series of music festivals in Europe this summer.

Uma Thurman's Stalker Sentenced To Probation

A Manhattan judge has sentenced a former mental patient to probation for stalking and harassing actress Uma Thurman.

Jack Jordan of Gaithersburg, Md., will serve three years probation in his home state, with the condition that he receive outpatient psychiatric treatment. The prosecutor had sought a year in jail.

State Supreme Court Justice Gregory Carro also imposed a five-year order of protection. If Jordan violates any of the court's terms, the judge says he'll be jailed.

Jordan, an out-of-work lifeguard and pool cleaner, was convicted on May 6. Testimony showed he subjected the "Pulp Fiction" star with a barrage of frightening advances.

He apologized in court on Monday. Thurman and her family were not present.

Chris Rock Says Poverty Is The Culprit For South African Violence

Chris Rock said Monday he doesn't consider a wave of attacks on foreigners in South Africa as black-on-black violence but a problem of poverty.

"It's broke-on-broke violence. It's broke people robbing each other," the 43-year-old actor-comedian said at a news conference Monday. "That's the sad thing."

More than 60 people have been killed and nearly 100,000 foreigners forced from their homes in a wave of attacks by South Africans who accuse them of taking jobs and blame them for crime.

Rock, who has visited South Africa before, opens his "No Apologies" tour in the country this week.

He said he plans to pay a courtesy call on former President Nelson Mandela, who turns 90 on July 18.

"I wish him another 90 years," Rock said. "There is a lot of work to be done still."

Yoko Ono Loses Bid To Block Use Of "Imagine" In Film

Yoko Ono has lost her Manhattan legal battle to block the use of John Lennon's song "Imagine" in a film challenging the theory of evolution.

Lennon's widow had sued the makers of "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed," saying they used parts of the song without her permission.

In a decision Monday, federal Judge Sidney Stein says the filmmakers are protected under the "fair use" doctrine. That permits small parts of a copyrighted work to be used without an author's permission under certain circumstances.

The movie opened on U.S. screens in April; it's set for release in Canada on Friday and on DVD in October.

It presents a sympathetic view of intelligent design, the theory that the universe is too complex to be explained by evolution alone.

Ono's attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.
