Browns Ink Brown For $45M
Defensive end Courtney Brown has officially signed his six-year contract with the Cleveland Browns.
Brown, the Penn State All-American taken by the Browns with the No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL draft, will make an estimated $45 million over the next six seasons.
He agreed to terms on the deal before draft day. Brown's contract reportedly included a $10.9 million signing bonus.
Brown will receive his degree in integrative arts and computer design Saturday at Penn State.
The Browns also announced that they have signed wide receiver Zola Davis and defensive tackle Ryan Kuehl to one-year contracts.
Davis appeared in six games for Cleveland last season after being claimed off waivers. He had two catches for 38 yards.
Kuehl played on special teams in all 16 games last year, finishing with three tackles.
