Britney And Kevin's Courtship

Britney Spears' two trusted, longtime security guards weren't at all trusting of Kevin Federline's intentions when the pop princess introduced them to the man who was to become her husband.

The now-pregnant Spears and Federline say so on the latest episode of their new UPN reality show, "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic." The episode, which airs tonight, offers a glimpse at their courtship through home videos and new interviews.

Security guards Mo and Tony "have been with me since day one, and they look at me like a little sister," Spears says. "So, when Kevin came along, it was kind of like, 'What the (heck)? You know, we're gonna check you real quick.' So, I think there was a little tension at first."

"When I first saw him," Mo remembers, "I was like, 'What the heck does she see in this guy? …I don't want this punk around her.' And I'm like, 'I'm getting rid of him. …I don't want anything wrong to happen to her. You hurt her, you're dealing with me.' "

"They were watching me the whole time, you know?" Federline recalls. "'Cause I know they relay messages back to her mom…and her mom and her would talk and stuff like that. And I'm sure her mom wanted to know what kind of person I was, if I was just this guy that is gonna just, you know, take total advantage of her."

But, as anyone who has passed a newsstand in the past six months knows, the relationship led to wedding bells, and a pregnancy.
