Braves Sign Pitcher Remlinger
Less than a month after acquiring journeyman left-hander Mike Remlinger, the Atlanta Braves signed him to a one-year contract.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 32-year-old Remlinger, who was eligible for arbitration, was 8-15 with a 4.82 ERA in 35 games for the Cincinnati Reds last season. On November 10th, Remlinger and second baseman Bret Boone were traded to Atlanta for pitcher Denny Neagle, outfielder Michael Tucker and minor-league prospect Rob Bell.

Remlinger, who came up with the San Francisco Giants in 1991, has a lifetime record of 19-31 with a 4.63 ERA in 148 games. He has also played with the New York Mets during the 1994-95 season.
Atlanta has just two players eligible for arbitration -- outfielder Danny Bautista and infielder Keith Lockhart
