Bored at Work? Rest in Peace

In case you needed another reason to find an exciting career, here comes a news flash from the medical field.

You'll die sooner if you are bored at work.

Thanks to HBR.org.'s The Daily Stat for this piece of news you can use. It comes from an April 2010 article in the International Journal of Epidemiology.

"Bureaucrats who admitted being extremely bored at work were 2.5 times more likely to be dead of cardiovascular disease two decades later," according to Annie Britton and Martin Shipley at University College London.

That's not all. Younger workers who are bored are more likely to die younger than those who are not.
