Bootcamp

Help getting married....from your computer.

And we're not talking about finding a date online!

This is a new CD ROM package called MGI Photosuite PC Wedding Kit. MGI's Chris Laidlaw says the idea is to let you create more personalized wedding mementos:

  • "We've got wine bottle labels, the ability to create photo cd covers for your photo pictures or for the music that's used by your DJ....
  • invitation cards, place setting cards, reception cards, thank you cards, VCR case covers for any
video that was taken of the wedding...
  • both in large and small to accommodate the case that's being used, wedding album covers, guest book pages for those guests who sign in...
  • menus, wedding programs and even response cards."
That should keep your printer busy. The kit also includes coupons to get five rolls of film transferred to disk when you pay for regular processing.

Besides printing...you can edit your pictures and store them.and put them on the Internet:

  • "The web is also a very important aspect of the pc wedding kit experience. Not only can you email images directly from pc wedding kit on windows 95, but you can also....with a Photonet account...share your pictures across the world with friends and family."
And you thought computers were to blame for breaking up marriages. The PC Wedding Kit sells for under thirty dollars.

Bootcamp may be heard daily on many of the CBS Radio Network Stations
