bluDANGLE Keeps Your Bluetooth Headset at the Ready

I've yet to find the Bluetooth Headset I can wear comfortably for more than 20 minutes at a time. But where am I supposed to stick the thing when I'm not using it? In a pocket? A briefcase? Those aren't exactly practical locations.

Enter bluDANGLE, a clip-on lanyard that keeps your headset close at hand. (Close at ear?) Here's what it looks like "in action":

I can't decide if this is the cleverest accessory I've seen this month or the dorkiest. Maybe both. Probably both.

But think about it: When you're done making or taking a call, you can just pop your headset off your ear and let it, well, dangle. Sure, you'll look lame, but no more so than walking around with a headset stuck to your head.

And when a call comes in, you should be able to hear the headset ring -- which you can't if it's tucked away somewhere.

Obviously the bluDANGLE works only with headsets that have earpieces like the one pictured above. But the attachment is just 1mm thick, so it shouldn't irritate your ear.
