BlackBerry Getting Gwabbit, LogMeIn, Xobni

It's a fine time to be a BlackBerry user, as three major services are making their way to the platform: contact-capture tool Gwabbit, remote-access tool LogMeIn, and Xobni.

Wait, Xobni? The Outlook add-on we've raved about for over a year? According to Webware, a BlackBerry version of Xobni is in the works for a summer release via BlackBerrry App World. Alas, we'll have to wait and see exactly what the app will provide, as the company has yet to offer any details. But Xobni co-founder Matt Brezina had this to say:

LogMeIn Ignition for BlackBerry
"The app will be focused on contact and relationship management and bring a lot of the relationship features people like from Xobni in Outlook to the BlackBerry."

Meanwhile, Gwabbit for BlackBerry bills itself as "the world's first automatic Email Contact Manager for any handheld device." Like its Outlook counterpart, the app will automatically search and identify e-mail-embedded signatures on your phone and add (or update) that information to your Blackberry address book. You'll be able to purchase Gwabbit for BlackBerry starting May 25; it'll run you $9.95 annually.

Finally, the Download Blog reports that BlackBerry Storm users will soon get their own LogMeIn app, much like iPhone users did with LogMeIn Ignition. No word yet on pricing or availability, but you can sign up for the mailing list on the LogMeIn Ignition for the BlackBerry Storm Smartphone site. (Geez, there's a mouthful.)

So, which of these three apps are you looking forward to the most? I think all three are reason to celebrate.
