Black Friday 2011 told through Instagrams
(CBS) - Black Friday kicked off on Thursday night for some of the biggest retail chains this year. The buying frenzy was shared across the country with Instagrams photos posted on Twitter.
I was only brave enough to visit Target after midnight and the lines were insane. The line to get into the electronics section wrapped around the store. Same for the front checkout counters.
Box chains and electronics stores weren't the only ones starting early. The neighboring mall was open with stores like the Gap, H&M and Macy's packed with customers. Guess a good turkey can't keep you down these days.
Enjoy those flatscreen TVs, America. You deserve it for braving these lines.
