Biden: Obama was "Laughing Like the Devil" at F-Bomb

Vice President Joe Biden today recounted the infamous "F-bomb" he dropped when President Obama signed his signature health care bill -- apparently the president was very amused by Biden's gaffe.

Last month, after Mr. Obama signed the health care legislation, Biden whispered in his ear that the bill's passage was a "big f***ing deal."

Today on ABC's "The View," Biden said he knew the microphone in front of him was on, but "I had no idea it was that sensitive."

"I was just thankful my mother couldn't hear," he said.

After the president's staff informed Mr. Obama and Biden that everyone had heard Biden's remark, Mr. Obama "was laughing like the devil," Biden said.

Biden said that he and Mr. Obama are "philosophically in sync," which allows the vice president to take on a lot of responsibilities.

When asked what exactly the vice president does, Biden joked, "It depends on whether you talk to Dick Cheney."

The former vice president "had a different definition" of the position, he said.
