Beth Mowins

This is Beth Mowins' third year as a reporter for CBS Sports' coverage of the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.

Mowins has called regular season women's college basketball for CBS (1998-present), calls play-by-play for women's college basketball on ESPN, ESPN2 and the Big East Network and also covers women's basketball for Penn State University and the University of Florida.

She has also served as play-by-play announcer for ESPN's coverage of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships and Softball Championships.

Mowins began her broadcasting career in 1991 as news and sports director for WXHC-FM Radio in Homer, N.Y.

She graduated from Lafayette College in 1989 where she was captain of the varsity basketball team (1988-89), and received a masters in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University in 1990

Born May 26, 1967, Mowins currently resides in Clearwater, Fla.
