Fashion consultant Alison Deyette shared this year's fashion "must haves" with This Morning as several kids modeled the trends from Rye Middle School and Rye High School in Rye, N.Y.
For kids, it's all about the layered look. Make sure they can take off or put on clothing to stay comfortable, warm and dry, says Deyette.

Store windows from the Gap to Old Navy are showing vests; the trend stretches from puffy to fleece, she notes. Dark denim is still in - coupled with embroidery on the cuff, she says.
For high schoolers, the look is loose and layered, and comfortable: parachute pants for guys, and the skant, a combination of skirt and pants, for girls.
