Anna Faris calls cheating rumors "devastating"
Anna Faris said although she trusts hubby Chris Pratt, rumors about him cheating on her with Jennifer Lawrence were painful.
The star of hit CBS show "Mom" told Us Weekly, "I had always kind of believed that part of the rumors of celebrity couples were sort of true because they had never been part of my life. I was like, 'Oh, maybe there's a kernel of truth to that.' It's been a little devastating because for us, it's like, 'What the heck?'"
She continued: "This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. It has been weirdly stinging."
Faris, 38, was referring to a Star report that her marriage to Pratt, 36, was on the rocks and that she was worried he would cheat with his "Passengers" co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Still, Faris said she trusts her husband, with whom she has three-year-old son, Jack. "I am very lucky that I am with a man [who] values family," she said.
Faris and Pratt got hitched in 2009, and said of their marriage that they take time out of each day to talk or meet in spite of their busy schedules.
Last year, Faris told CBS News she sometimes goes to Pratt for advice: "He's so supportive and amazing and happy for me. I think we both have made a living about playing not very intelligent characters and both of our careers are going in slightly different directions which is also really exciting. We both embrace the idea that you're jumping off the high-dive and hopefully you're touching the bottom of the pool because there's no half way."
